  • Our ribbons are designed for in-line near edge (NE) or corner edge overprinting


  • Colours: NE ribbon colours to imprint standard and decorative text, barcodes, backgrounds & images on metallised and non-metallised label and flexible packaging film surfaces;

    - Standard black, blue, sapphire blue, red, opaque white
    - Metallic gold, metallic silver (decorative metallic silver for black/dark flexible film substrate)


  • Our black ribbons produce dark, high contrast, scratch & smudge resistant images    

  • Print Speeds: low (up to 300m/s) and high (up to 1200m/s); with ink transfer temperatures up to and including 74°C, 82°C & 150°C.

  • AS5012TTR-C, AS5013TTR-C, AS5014TTR-C & AS5016TTR-C are group codes for our application-specific ribbons, listed on the left and above. For example, AS5013TTR-C, our hot fill packaging range, offers ribbons for use with high speed TT printers (including Domino V-series) in high volume bag forming, labelling, shrink wrap, and vertical/horizontal form, fill & seal machine flexible packaging environments. Our hot fill ribbons mark/code their substrates (film, shrink wrap, etc.) before the containers (pouches, bags, etc.) are formed, filled, and sealed. So, these ribbons are designed to withstand harsh temperatures upon exposure to content splashes during filling, steam sterilisation, or freezing, etc.

  • AS5010TTR-C and AS5011TTR-C are group codes for other specialty ribbons. These include our long length  ribbons developed from 4 micron based films for overprinting Polyamide flexible Films using Markem X60 printer.

  • A range of specialty ribbons for general and specific (hot fill, healthcare, boil-in-the -bag, decorative) applications. For example, healthcare ribbons for labelling and packaging applications to assure proper and accurate identification of patients and products (wristbands, vials, specimen slides, blood & plasma bags, IV fluid bag, biohazard waste bag, pharmaceutical  & nutraceutical packaging) specific to them.
