Packaging

• Standard ribbon core size: 25.4mm.  [Non-standard cores, 34mm or 40mm, upon customer request]

• Our range of resin ribbons for security holograms is designed & formulated to produce outstanding standard/customer-specific overt images known as DOVIDs (diffractive optical variable image devices).  These DOVIDs produce unique dynamic motion (colour shifting) patterns on films/labels, upon exposure to light & reflection. Like rainbow transmission mounted on a reflective surface, the colour shifting patterns are irreproducible.  That's the beauty! They cannot be replicated by scanners, copiers, or standard printing techniques; thus making the patterns a single source of security and overt authentication for the brand or products or labels/packagings on which they are applied.   
  
• All our three ribbons can be used separately or in combination to provide additional layer(s) of document/product/ label security.  Besides, they are incredibly easy & low-cost solutions to implement & validate - by individuals and small or large organisations - wishing to maintain their document security integrity by printing in-house, digitally and on-demand.
• Compatibility: suit some near-edge and all flat-head printers with speeds up to 150mm/s.  Our ribbons in combination with these printers offer the user an endless opportunity to create unique & distinct security images, since any image that can be printed with a thermal transfer ribbon can (for example) be rendered invisible.
• Prolonged Print head life: advance low friction, anti-static thermal resistant back-coat technology.
• Uniform print and colour consistency. Designed for 5-35°C application temps.

• Prints turn black when copied, scanned, or replicated by standard printing techniques - making them easy to validated & authenticate overtly and inexpensively.
• Prints any image - including unique identifiers, company logos, serial numbers - that is thermal transfer printable for use in mild domestic to harsh industrial & commercial environments.

• Packing: Minimum order quantity (M.O.Q) = 1 box.
• Order quantity: we quote for M.O.Q or more, in steps of 1 box for each of the three (3) security ribbons, upon receipt of ribbon roll length & width required and a request for quotation from customer.
  
  Why these ribbons? They aid tampered & cloned document detection via UV or colour shifting. Counterfeiters are not able to create thermal transfer ink ribbons in the exact hue of the colour of the print from our ribbons. So, this means our UV & Holographic thermal transfer ribbons make your property even more secure and authentic.
